Invite friends and earn

Every Buildliy account comes with a personal invite link and code — there's nothing to apply for. Share them, and two things happen:

• Bonus credits — "Give 50, get 25". A friend who goes Pro gets 50 bonus credits, and you get 25.
• Commission. You earn 30% of every subscription payment from people you refer, for their first 12 months.

Both use the same link and code, with no extra setup.

Find your link and code

Open your account menu and click Invite a friend (it shows Give 50, get 25), or click Affiliate program in the sidebar. Both open your affiliate dashboard.

Under Share to earn you'll find:

• Your code — short and easy to say out loud. Click Copy.
• Your link — click Copy and share it anywhere.

The fine print:

• Their bonus is for first-time Pro subscribers, once per person. It isn't given if they've paid for a subscription before, or if their card, payment account or email address has already earned it on another account (including a deleted one). A payment that can't be matched to a specific card or payment account, as with some digital wallets, doesn't qualify.
• There's no extra bonus for signing up free — the bonus comes with the first Pro payment.
• Bonus credits are valid for 12 months.
• If the qualifying payment is fully refunded or disputed, the bonus credits are taken back from both of you.
• You can't use your own link or code.

How referrals are tracked

• Your link saves a 60-day cookie in the browser where it's clicked. If the person finishes signing up in that browser within 60 days, they're your referral. If they click another affiliate's link before signing up, the most recent link counts.
• Your code works on any device. People type it in the Have a creator code? box when they sign up, or add it to their account within 30 days of signing up.

Each account can have only one referrer, and once someone is recorded as yours, they stay yours.

Use a creator code

Got a code from a creator or a friend? Add it and you'll get +50 bonus credits when you go Pro within 30 days of signing up.

• When you sign up — enter it in the Have a creator code? box.
• After signing up — go to Settings → Billing and find Creator code, or click Have a creator code? under the plan cards on Plans & credits. Enter the code and click Apply.

You can add a code within 30 days of signing up, as long as your account doesn't already have one and you haven't paid for a subscription yet. Each account can use one code, and it can't be changed later. While your bonus is waiting, Plans & credits shows how many days you have left to go Pro.

Choose your own code

On your affiliate dashboard, click Edit code to pick a custom code: 3 to 16 letters and numbers, not already taken. Reserved words, codes that read like a store coupon, and codes that could be mistaken for an official Buildliy code aren't allowed. You can create up to 10 custom codes. When you switch, your old codes keep working and stay yours.

The affiliate program

You earn 30% of every subscription invoice for each customer you refer, for their first 12 months:

• It applies to monthly and yearly Pro plans at any credit amount.
• A yearly plan earns the full 12 months of commission from its single payment.
• There's no commission on top-ups, hosting, or domain purchases.

Each commission appears in your Commission ledger shortly after the invoice is paid, marked Pending, Approved, Paid, Clawback or Voided. Your dashboard also shows what's ready for your next payout, what's on hold, and your lifetime earnings.

Holds and payouts

Payouts run on the 1st of each month.

• A commission waits 30 days after the customer pays, in case of a refund, then pays on the next 1st.
• Commissions of $500 or more wait 90 days and get a quick review.
• Very large yearly commissions ($2,000 or more) are paid in 12 monthly parts.

If a customer gets a refund or disputes a charge, the related commission is cancelled (a partial refund reduces it by the same share). If it was already paid to you, it's subtracted from your future earnings and shows as a clawback.

Under Payout method, pick one and switch any time:

Credits from payouts are valid for 12 months.

Promote responsibly

• Say you're an affiliate when you promote Buildliy — it's the law in most countries.
• Don't send spam or use bought email lists, don't bid on Buildliy's name in search ads, don't post on coupon or deal sites without our OK, and don't make misleading claims about Buildliy.
• Commissions are your income, and you're responsible for any taxes on them.
